Established in 1999 and located in South Phoenix, Southwest Truck Driver Training, a CDL Licensing school, is owned & operated by Sean Williams. SWTDT has a large commitment to the Men and Women who have served in the military, and they offer many types of training to meet the ever growing need for CDL trained drivers.
Their programs are structured to provide each student with sufficient behind-the-wheel driving time for the development of practical skills necessary to obtain a Class A, B or RV CDL.
Arizona Color has wrapped many of SWTDT’s student trucks for their Phoenix, Tucson and Las Vegas locations.
For this project, Sean wanted to showcase a collage of the different eras of America’s involvement in the state of war.
Starting with the American Revolution, then progressing into World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm and ending with Operation Iraqi Freedom. The opposite side is a dedication to our Military branches and shows several of our military soldiers in both training and live combat.
The hood adorns the Follow Me Statue from Fort Benning, along with our branches official flags. The large scoop has both an American Flag as well as our nation’s symbol for Freedom, the Bald Eagle.
The entire wrap was designed to have a Sepia Tone style look to mimic the colors of the US Military green, except for the American Flags that are the main focal point of the design.
